A. Connect to ChatGPT & Claude
Can I use Todopi from ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes. With the Pro plan, you can add, view, and complete tasks from your chats with ChatGPT and Claude. On Mac, you can also connect to Claude Code and Codex with the Plus plan or higher. For instructions, see “Connect Todopi to your ChatGPT and Claude”.
What can AI see?
Lists, tasks, subtasks, comments, and reminders in workspaces you belong to. Attachment contents and members’ names and email addresses are not shared. You can also choose “Read only” when connecting.
B. Getting started and sharing
Can I use Todopi for free?
Yes. You can share and try AI even with the Free plan. Check the purchase screen in the app to see what each plan includes.
Which devices can I use?
You can use Todopi on iPhone, iPad, and Android. Check the App Store and Google Play pages for supported OS versions.
How many people can I share with?
The number of people you can share with depends on the workspace’s plan. Check the purchase screen in the app for the number of members.
Does the person I invite need an account too?
Yes. Both the person sending the invitation and the person being invited need to be signed in with an Apple or Google account.
Can I share between iPhone and Android?
Yes. By joining in Todopi on your own devices, you can use the same lists together. On Android, sign in with a Google account.
What is the difference between “Personal” and a shared workspace?
The “Personal” workspace created when you start is for you alone. Inviting someone to share it turns it into a shared workspace, and it cannot become personal again. If you want a personal workspace again, select “Start personal use” under “Create workspace” in the workspace menu to create a new one. You can have only one personal workspace at a time.
C. AI features
What does AI read from photos and PDFs?
It finds suggested tasks (titles, due dates, notes, and subtasks) from photos, PDFs, and text from notes or emails. You can choose which suggestions to add.
How many times can I use AI?
The number of uses depends on the plan and is shared by all workspace members. The app’s AI screen shows the remaining uses, and the purchase screen shows the uses included in each plan.
Are the photos and text I send stored? Are they used to train AI?
The photos and text you send, along with the suggestions found, are not stored on Todopi’s servers or recorded in logs. Anthropic’s AI (Claude) reads the content, and Anthropic states that, as a general rule, content received through its API is not used to train its models. Tasks you add are saved in the same way as other tasks.
D. Pricing
How do the plans differ?
They differ in the number of people you can share with, attachments, how long completed tasks are kept, repeats, AI uses, the ability to connect to ChatGPT and Claude, and more. Check the purchase screen in the app for details and prices.
If one person pays, can the rest of the family use paid features too?
Yes. When you purchase Plus or Pro, you can use your plan in shared workspaces. All members of those workspaces can use the features of the purchaser’s plan. The number of shared workspaces you can use your plan in depends on your plan. Check the purchase screen in the app for that number. Your personal workspace always has your own plan. Connecting to ChatGPT and Claude is only available with your own plan.
What happens if I cancel?
You can cancel through subscription management in the App Store or Google Play. After canceling, you can keep using your current plan until it expires.
Will my data and plan carry over when I change devices?
Your data and plan carry over when you sign in with the same Apple or Google account. To move from iPhone to Android, you need to be signed in with a Google account. If your plan does not appear, try “Restore” on the purchase screen.
E. Data
Can I use Todopi offline?
Yes. You only need an internet connection the first time you open it. After that, you can add and edit tasks offline, and they sync when you reconnect. Some actions, such as invitations and purchases, are only available online.
What types of files can I attach?
Images and PDFs. The number and size of attachments depend on your plan, which you can check on the purchase screen in the app. Only workspace members can view attachments.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from Settings in the app. Data in shared workspaces remains with the other members. Your subscription is not canceled automatically, so please cancel it in the store.
F. Moving from the old Checka app
Can I move from Checka?
Yes, you can move until December 31, 2026. Instructions appear in the Checka app. Incomplete tasks move to Todopi; completed tasks and subscriptions do not carry over.
